Within AFR Aggro and Control Sealed decks, the counters on Monk of the Open Hand increase quickly, often before an opponent realizes they should have removed it when it entered the battlefield
In a meta with counterspells and fog effects, thats a quiet hate-piece that protects your combo pieces and your combat damage at the same time
Its not nearly as restrictive because you can just play more cards
You must legally be allowed to possess it
The second big flaw I find in Spell Snare is that it serves very little specific purpose in the cube, you never play it really to deal with something generic as you might with a Disenchant or Negate effect
It's a powerful card to use in game, but perhaps this Enchanted version, numbered as card 235/207, is better kept tucked away somewhere safe
